Technomarine Engineers State-of-the-Art Marina in Gulf of Oman

Florida-based entrepreneur Erik Sanderson serves as the CEO of Technomarine Group, where he leads the engineering and construction of next-generation marinas worldwide. One of the high-profile projects Erik Sanderson directed was part of The Wave, an ambitious 3-mile, mixed-use development envisioned by the Sultan of Oman.

In addition to residential, hotel, and golf course properties, the project created the most modern marina in the Gulf of Oman. Technomarine met this ambitious goal with a floating dock system that features a spacious marina with 400 berths. The marina can accommodate large yachts as well as ordinary pleasure crafts.

Completing this project required the deft navigation of language and cultural barriers and the development of a team-focused approach that brought together personnel from around the world. The project had a significant positive economic impact as well. Local Oman residents comprised 70 percent of the workers. The result was a state-of-the-art marina that will last decades.
